Drei Schnecken - Otto, Anna und Izzy - planen ein Picknick. Im Schneckentempo packen sie tausend Leckereien in ihre Körbe und machen sich auf den Weg. Three snails - Otto, Anna and Izzy - are planning a picnic. At a snail's pace, they pack a thousand treats into their baskets and set off. Half a year has passed: The three of them are still travelling, their stomachs growling loudly. But they don't eat until they reach their destination, where they are strict. Another six months later: the snails are at the end of their tether. But then they FINALLY arrive. Oh no, they've forgotten the cloverleaf spritzer! It doesn't help, Otto has to go back, he's the strongest: ‘Don't you dare start without me!’ Can Anna and Izzy hold out? The snail story by Jörg Bernardy and Katja Spitzer is colourful, dramatic, funny - and wonderfully subtle!
