----------------------------------
The Hungry Mouse is an Old Iranian folktale that revolves around greed. It helps children to understand that although “wanting more” is not necessarily a bad thing, it should not turn into greed and hurting others. The mouse in our story is hungry. He is so hungry! In a way in which he swallows everything he sees. It does not matter if it is an apple, a leaf, or a human. He continues swallowing and moving forward and his belly gets bigger and bigger. If no one stops him, he will eat half of the people in the city. But the city has a clever old woman who knows how to deal with hungry and rude mice.
--------------------
