Es ist ein ganz normaler Morgen. Du wachst auf, gehst aus dem Haus, zur Haltestelle, steigst in den Bus. Irgendwie schauen alle schief bis grimmig. Regen. Nass. Naja. Neben dir plötzlich ein Stups: »Ist das nicht ein toller Tag?« – Dazu ein breites Grinsen. Du bist verwirrt. Kurz. Eins, zwei, drei. Dann lächelst du zurück. Dein Lächeln bleibt. Du grinst und wünschst der Dame mit grün-pinkem Flausch einen guten Morgen. Sie guckt verdutzt. Eins, zwei, drei.

Die Jugendliteraturpreisträgerin Christina Röckl erzählt mit rauschenden Farben und witzigen Charakteren über einen Tag im Bus. Fast ohne Text führt sie uns zu den kleinen Dingen, die die Welt zum Tanzen bringen, und zeigt, was wir mit winzigen Impulsen wie einem einfachen Lächeln bewirken können.

Suddenly there's a nudge next to you: "Isn't it a great day?" - Accompanied by a broad grin. You are confused. Short. One two three. Then you smile back. Your smile stays. You grin and wish the lady with green and pink fluff a good morning. She looks puzzled. One two three.

The youth literature award winner Christina Röckl tells the story of a day on the bus with dazzling colors and funny characters. Almost without text, she takes us to the little things that make the world dance and shows what we can achieve with tiny impulses like a simple smile."
