Wait a minute / Kinderbuch Koreanisch / Eunsil Cha
------
The 25th picture book in the Picture Book Hyang series, "Wait a minute," is a growth story that connects the themes of Cha Eun-sil's previous works, "What's Up?" and "I Built a House." If the first picture book, "What's Happening?" is a growth story that supports a life that goes through alone, the second picture book, "I Built a House," is a growth story that deals with the sensitivity that we need to have as we live with our neighbors. Now, the third picture book, "Wait a minute", shows why an interaction that gives trust and stability is necessary when communicating with someone with the material of 'waiting'.
A child finds a red dot on the floor that looks like a stain or a hole. Then she asks what this is and calls her mother. Her mom says she only counts to ten and she says wait a minute. The child counts to ten and looks at the red dot. In the meantime, another world of waiting approaches the child. The child does not hesitate and puts her feet into the world. “Shall we wait together?”.
